Day 21. This year we said goodbye to Hector Bizerk, however, Louie is never one to rest on his laurels and so Louie & the Lochbacks came into existence; a mashup of Louie, Be Charlotte & Pronto Mama, seen here at the last ever Brew at the Bog.

Day 20 and we’ve picked Gun. Yep, they’re still going and as banging as they ever were – packing out venues and gathering new fans along the way. Word Up!

For Day 19, we bring you Ricky Warwick & the Fighting Hearts. SB caught them when they supported Stiff Little Fingers earlier in the year, and said it was good to see Ricky with his Fighting Hearts after already seeing him in The Almighty, Thin Lizzy and Black Star Riders.

Day 18 is Baby Strange day. We love these guys. There’s so much energy at their gigs so do yourselves a favour and get along to one. Oh, and check out their recently released debut album.

Single by Sunday is a fairly new band to emerge from that Glaswegian melting pot of musical talent. The band won the One to Watch talent search in 2015 and were named as Scotland’s Best Unsigned Band by Capital FM. They played Aberdeen for the first time recently, and DS went along to take a look.
Day 17, with just a week to go to the big day’s eve, and we have Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes for you. This gig had everything; from a hushed audience kneeling on the floor, to much crowd surfing, and even crowd walking.

Day 16 brings you Fat Goth. From Dundee, they’ve been around since 2007 and have just finished recording their 4th album. They played Aberdeen back in February for us – a really good gig.

Day 15 is a festive tune from The La… The La… The LaFontaines – a band we’ve seen grow from strength to strength, from the small venues and stages to the Main Stage at Bella where singer Kerr Okan looked very much ‘at home’.

For Day 14 we have Vienna Ditto. This remarkable duo from Oxford had me transfixed – and laughing hysterically in equal measure – when they played Brew At The Bog this summer.
