This week we're having a cards night. Yes, the green baize table is out and we're all squeezed around it. Tins of beer and laughs everywhere until the smokers get told to get outside in the rain then they get grumpy. Its all good fun though, and no social networking sites to be seen for a change as we've banned mobiles for the night. Its an unusual evening, but very, very worthwhile. You should try it sometime. But don't take Frauen Disco along, she cheats like a 1920s pool hall hustler. Aye, its the quiet ones you have to watch for.
The FnS beatbox is purring away in the corner, not too loud so you have to shout but loud enough to get the beats n vibes. Mother would have approved.

"The West Side with its atmosphere, the camaraderie and the humour it held was unrivalled, and if you were standing in there you thought you’ve arrived. That made you feel you was one of the men, well it did for me."
